Departure from Holyhead

Daily sailings from Holyhead to Dublin and back.

Due to the short layover between departures from Fishguard and Rosslare, day passengers are kindly requested to remain in the terminal. You'll then reboard at 7:30 PM, with plenty of duty-free shopping opportunities for you and your loved ones.

Duty-free items purchased onboard may not be consumed. Please have your boarding pass, received at check-in, ready when making purchases.

*Duty-free products may only be purchased within the permitted allowances on the return journey to Holyhead or Fishguard. Each passenger is responsible for declaring any excess quantities and paying any applicable duties directly to HMRC.

The following information applies to a single person aged 18 or over.

Travel to Ireland

• up to 200 cigarettes, 50 cigars, 100 cigarillos or 250g of loose tobacco
• plus a maximum of 1 liter of spirits (over 22% ABV) or 2 liters of alcoholic beverages up to 22% ABV
• In addition, 4 liters of still wine
• and up to 16 liters of beer

Travel to the United Kingdom

• 200 cigarettes, 50 cigars, 100 cigarillos, or 250 g of tobacco products
• 4 liters of alcoholic beverages over 22% ABV or 9 liters of beverages under 22% ABV
• also 18 liters of still wine
• and 42 liters of beer

Travel to the Netherlands

• up to 200 cigarettes, 50 cigars, 100 cigarillos, or 250 g of tobacco
• 1 liter of spirits over 22% ABV or 2 liters under 22% ABV
• in addition, 4 liters of wine
• and 16 liters of beer

Arrival Procedure

With this day trip, you will disembark in Dublin and can visit the city or wait in the terminal for your return journey.

Passengers traveling to Rosslare will also disembark and spend a short time in the terminal lounge before reboarding.
