How to access Porto Torres port
Porto Torres Ferry Port is located on the North West side of Sardinia and well signposted. From Cagliari - Sassari follow the SS131, from Santa Teresa di Gallura follow road SP90 and from Alghero follow road SP42. Once in Porto Torres the port is well sign posted.

Check-in/Passport control
Check-in procedures and passport control at Ponte Caracciolo in the building of the same name, on the first floor.
Depending on the ships in operation, check-in procedures may be carried out in the surrounding roads instead of inside the Ponte Caracciolo building (in both cases, one will take precedence over the other, both locations are not used at the same time.

How to access Genoa port
by Car
From the A12 highway (Tyrrhenian route): take the Genova Est or Genova Nervi exits. "From the A10 ('Autostrada dei Fiori'), A7 (Milan-Genoa), and A26 (Alessandria-Porto Torres) highways: take the Genoa Ovest exit. Then follow the signs leading to the Genoa PORTO.

by Train
Genoa PORTA PRINCIPE station, walking distance (10 minutes), or by taxi (2 minutes) 5.00 euro approx. Genoa Principe railway station is about 4 kilometres away (bus n° 19 and 20 to the port).
Genoa Brignole railway station is less than 1 km away from the Port  (bus no. 31, 19 and a special bus service).

by Airplane
Cristoforo Colombo' airport ( is about 10 kilometres from the Ports. It is served by taxies ( 25.00 euro approx) and by the bus n. 100 dept every 30 minutes, which takes you straight to Genova PORTA PRINCIPE railway station ( 4.00 euro).
