Ferry Porto Torres-Rome

The crossing between Porto Torres and Rome with Grimaldi Lines takes around 8 hours. The ferry ticket price starts at 25,00 Euro each way without car. Prices for 2 adults+2 children+car starts at approx. 230,00 Euro for both ways.
Ferry crossing from Porto Torres to Rome is a very popular ferry route therefore have to be ordered months in advance!

Please note that you will need to check in at least 2 hours before departure in Porto Torres. Foot and vehicle passengers need to show up in the Terminal (here's also the check-in office, where you can get your boarding tickets).

The same goes for the Terminal in Rome. Check-in must happen at least 2 hours before departure. The check-in office is in the Terminal, and as foot or vehicle passenger you can get your ticket here.

How to access Porto Torres port
Porto Torres Ferry Port is located on the North West side of Sardinia and well signposted. From Cagliari - Sassari follow the SS131, from Santa Teresa di Gallura follow road SP90 and from Alghero follow road SP42. Once in Porto Torres the port is well sign posted.

How to access Rome (Civitavecchia) port
From Rome by motorway A12: do not leave the motorway through the exits Rome but continue until the end of the motorway. Then thake the bypass in direction Rome to the port entrance.

From Rome by highway SS1 (Via Aurelia): when you reach Rome, follow signposting to «Porto».
From north by highway SS1 (Via Aurelia): about 10 km before Rome take the pybass (Orte-Rome) to the port entrance.
From Orte Viterbo highway SS 675: continue on this road until you reach the port entrance.
