Ferry Barcelona-Rome

The crossing between Barcelona and Rome with Grimaldi Lines takes around 21 hours. The ferry ticket price starts at 45,00 Euro each way without car. Prices for 2 adults+2 children+car starts at approx. 185,00 Euro for one way.
Ferry crossing from Barcelona to Rome is a very popular ferry route therefore have to be ordered months in advance!

Please note that you will need to check in at least 2 hours before departure in Barcelona. Foot and vehicle passengers need to show up in the Terminal (here's also the check-in office, where you can get your boarding tickets).

The same goes for the Terminal in Civitavecchia (Rome). Check-in must happen at least 2 hours before departure. The check-in office is in the Terminal, and as foot or vehicle passenger you can get your ticket here.

Cruise Roma and Cruise Barcelona are the names of the vessels that are sailing on the route Barcelona-Civitavecchia. How to access Barcelona port
By car:
Coming from the Ronda Litoral, take Exit 21 Ciutat Vella (Parallel, Las Ramblas, Montjuic, Port Vell).
Once you get to the Plaza de la Carbonera, go straight ahead in the direction of Muelle de Costa, direction Montjuïc (leaving behind the Maritime Station of the company Acciona Trasmediterranea).
 
By Subway:
From the underground stations Drassanes (L3) or Parallel (L2/L3) you can reach the bus stop at Portal de la Pau (near Estatua de Colon, behind the palace of the Customs-"Aduanas")
 
By regular bus:
Daily connections from Portal de la Pau (near Estatua de Colon, behind the palace of the Customs) to Grimaldi Lines Terminal, and vice versa.

In addition, there is also a regular bus service "Line 88" (bus timetables...>>)

How to access Civitavecchia (Rome) port
From Rome by motorway A12: do not leave the motorway through the exits Civitavecchia but continue until the end of the motorway. Then thake the bypass in direction Civitavecchia to the port entrance.

From Rome by highway SS1 (Via Aurelia): when you reach Civitavecchia, follow signposting to «Porto».

From north by highway SS1 (Via Aurelia): about 10 km before Civitavecchia take the pybass (Orte-Civitavecchia) to the port entrance.

From Orte Viterbo highway SS 675: continue on this road until you reach the port entrance.

On your navigator: TOWN=Civitavecchia, STREET=Largo della Pace
