Ferry Savona-Barcelona

The crossing between Savona and Barcelona with Grimaldi Lines takes around 19-20 hours. The ferry ticket price starts at 20,00 Euro each way without car. Prices for 2 adults + 2 children + car starts at approx. 160,00 Euro for one way.
Ferry crossing from Savona to Barcelona is a very popular ferry route therefore have to be ordered months in advance!

Please note that you will need to check in at least 2 hours before departure in Savona. Foot and vehicle passengers need to show up in the Terminal (here's also the check-in office, where you can get your boarding tickets).

The same goes for the Terminal in Barcelona. Check-in must happen at least 2 hours before departure. The check-in office is in the Terminal, and as foot or vehicle passenger you can get your ticket here.

How to access Savona port
From Albisola Exit:
after the toll, turn right and follow the signs: Savona and Porto. After about 1 km, at the crossing turn right and take the Via Aurelia, along the sea for about 3 km to Savona city. After a short climb (Via Gramsci) take the traffic circòe turning left at the castle Priamar and follow the signs to Porto customs entrance. Once at the gate, you must show your ticket to access to the port areas and follow the signs or indications of operators along the road to get to the Tensostruttura.
 
From Savona Exit:
follow the direction of Savona and Porto Centro, proceeding along the main road (C.so Svizzera). At the traffic circle (after about 1 km) continue along the main street (Via Stalingrado). After about 3 km you enter the city, passing under a railway bridge: at the traffic circle, continue in the tree-lined avenue (C.so Tardy Benech and then C.so Mazzini) until the entrance to the harbor. Once at the gate, you must show your ticket to access to the port areas and follow the signs or indications of operators along the road to get to the Tensostruttura.

How to access Barcelona port
By car:
Coming from the Ronda Litoral, take Exit 21 Ciutat Vella (Parallel, Las Ramblas, Montjuic, Port Vell).
Once you get to the Plaza de la Carbonera, go straight ahead in the direction of Muelle de Costa, direction Montjuïc (leaving behind the Maritime Station of the company Acciona Trasmediterranea).
 
By Subway:
From the underground stations Drassanes (L3) or Parallel (L2/L3) you can reach the bus stop at Portal de la Pau (near Estatua de Colon, behind the palace of the Customs-"Aduanas")
 
By regular bus:
Daily connections from Portal de la Pau (near Estatua de Colon, behind the palace of the Customs) to Grimaldi Lines Terminal, and vice versa.

In addition, there is also a regular bus service "Line 88" (bus timetables...>>)
